Consortium Involvement

I am excited to integrate LearningClues into the free ebook platform Runestone Academy and to test the results with instructors and students.  LearningClues offers 24/7 help for students based on instructional materials, a coach that doesn't just give away the answer, and the ability to create new practice problems.  Runestone Academy offers over 30 free ebooks for computer science including a book I started called CSAwesome which has been endorsed by the College Board for the Advanced Placement Computer Science A course which is equivalent to a college level first course for computer science majors. I am also excited about running a workshop at CompEd 2025 in Botswana on the curriculum that I helped create in the summer of 2024.  This curriculum has been pilot tested and students were able to do more with generative AI than the instructor expected.  The curriculum includes hands-on work, lecture slides, open-ended projects, and quizes.
