Association of Computer Science Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI)

The Association of Computer Science Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI) was established as a national organization dedicated to exploring and providing remedies to the educational issues in computer/information science and computer engineering that confront minority institutions of higher education.

Computing Alliance of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI)

CAHSI's mission is to grow and sustain a networked community committed to recruiting, retaining, and accelerating the progress of students in computing. CAHSI's goals are to: challenge students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to position them to thrive in the workforce; support the professional growth for those who serve our students; expand meaningful partnerships; and inform policy through evidence.   

Center for Inclusive Computing at Northeastern

Founded in 2019, the CIC is partnering with over 100 universities across the U.S. to improve access to computing education. The CIC works with university presidents, provosts, deans, chairs, and faculty to remove institutional barriers and implement research-backed interventions to expand students’ opportunities to discover, persist in, and graduate from computing programs.

CodePath

CodePath is reprogramming higher education to create the first AI-native generation of engineers, CTOs, and founders. We deliver industry-vetted courses and career support centered on the needs of first-generation and low-income students. Our students train with senior engineers, intern at top companies, and rise together to become the tech leaders of tomorrow.

The mission of the Computing Research Association is to catalyze computing research by engaging industry, government, and academia. CRA executes this mission by leading the computing research community, informing policymakers and the public, and promoting the development of an innovative and responsible computing research workforce.

The Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) is dedicated to empowering, supporting, and advocating for K–12 computer science teachers worldwide. Its mission is to promote and advance computer science education by providing educators with professional development, resources, and a strong community of peers.

EngageCSEdu publishes high-quality, engaging, classroom-tested Open Educational Resources (OER’s) for computer science education. Instructors submit novel contributions that are accessible and of interest to other teachers/educators at either a secondary or post-secondary level.

Runestone Academy + LearningClues

LearningClues and Runestone Academy are University of Michigan–affiliated educational platforms that enhance learning through technology. LearningClues uses AI to provide personalized study tools, while Runestone Academy offers free, interactive STEM textbooks, together supporting innovative, accessible education.

Special Interest Group Computer Science Education (SIGCSE)

ACM SIGCSE is the leading global community of professionals, researchers, educators, teachers, and students interested in understanding and improving computing education. We provide opportunities and resources to advance educational research and practice related to designing, developing, and implementing pedagogy, curricula, programs, and tools at all levels in all types of educational settings. 

VarsityMentor

VarsityMentor is a digital network of African tech professionals in the diaspora and a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to tackling the problem of graduate unemployment in Africa. Currently, about half of the 3 million students who graduate from Africa's over 2,389 universities every year end up not finding work. We connect college and university students in Africa with carefully vetted African tech professionals in the diaspora and their allies for mentoring, skills development and career pathway guidance.

The University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI) delivers innovative, elegant and ethical solutions connecting people, information and technology. The school was one of the first iSchools in the nation and is the premier institution studying and using technology to improve human computer interactions.

Wadhwani AI is an independent nonprofit institute that develops and deploys artificial intelligence solutions to address complex social challenges and improve the lives of underserved communities, particularly in health, education, and agriculture. Its mission is to harness AI for large-scale social impact by creating accessible, human-centered technologies and working with partners to embed these solutions into systems that deliver lasting benefits.
